Academics at more than 60 universities refuse to work, protesting government’s failure to implement agreed deal.

Thousands of university students in Nigeria may not be able to graduate this year.

Academics at more than 60 universities are on strike, as lecturers say the government has failed to implement a deal worth $9.3bn that was agreed in 2009.
