New solution to Bangladesh health problems

Voicemail and text service now being used to deliver healthcare to pregnant women in remote rural areas.

Bangladesh has dramatically reduced the rate of mothers who die in childbirth over the past 20 years.

The progress is mainly due to the advances in maternal health care in urban areas. 

Yet many women in rural communities still lack access, but mobile phones could be the answer.
