Students seek change in Sudan

Calls for a revolution made as tough economic conditions and political stagnation angers young people.

Rising prices in Sudan, together with high inflation, and a shortage in foreign currency, together with political stagnation has created conditions ripe for the type of uprisings that have swept the Arab world.

Earlier this year university students in staged protests – but those were quickly put down.

 Al Jazeera’s Mohamed Vall reports from Khartoum on why people are debating whether the nation needs a revolution.
