Taylor’s Sierra Leone victims welcome verdict

Civil war victims in Sierra Leone hope to draw a line after ex-Liberian leader is found guilty of war crimes.

Former Liberian President Charles Taylor has been found guilty of aiding and abetting war crimes and crimes against humanity in Sierra Leone.

A special court in the Hague convicted Taylor on 11 counts including murder, the conscription of child soldiers, rape and sexual slavery.
