More than 3,000 people have fled fighting in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to seek refuge in neighbouring countries.
Continued fighting between the army and the forces of General Bosco Ntaganda has made return increasingly difficult. The number of DRC refugees in central Africa, meanwhile, continues to increase.
The situation worsened for the refugees when President Joseph Kabila set out to capture Ntaganda, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court.
