Young Syrian refugees battling depression

Aid agencies help children and teenagers in Jordan camp recover from effects of war through group activities.

The UN says more than half of the Syrian refugees in Jordan are under the age of eighteen.

Some are dealing with depression, fear and anger, according to aid agencies at the country’s Al Zaatri refugee camp.

Many resources have been devoted to recreational activities that help treat the psychological wounds of those affected by the war.

Al Jazeera’s Nisreen El-Shamayleh reports from the Al Zaatri camp.
