Raids on Tripoli airport echo power struggle

Libya’s Tobruk-based government says it carried out air strikes on rival-held Mitiga airport in the capital.

Libya’s Tobruk-based Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thinni has said his government has carried out air strikes on the airport in Tripoli.

The air raids in the capital are the latest round in the deadly power-struggle between the country’s two rival administrations.
