Senegal craftsmen affected by China trade

Business owners in West African nation struggle to fend off competition from cheap Chinese imports.

China overtook the US as Africa’s largest trading partner several years ago. As a result, African countries are importing more and more Chinese goods.

However, some are now saying that the booming trade with China is negatively impacting local craftsmen’s businesses.
