Syrians criticise US air attack strategy

Many in northern Syria complain US strikes are hurting groups like the Nusra Front, and hampering fight against Assad.

The US Congress has approved a plan to fund so-called “moderate” rebels in Syria, a marked shift in US foreign policy.

Yet, many in the country’s northern Idlib province, are protesting against the US air attack strategy – not because they support the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, but because they do not trust the US government.

They also say that civilians have been killed in the strikes.
